A snow sculpture making machine. |
After the snowstorm, as is the pattern in Colorado, the sun came out to melt some of it away. When it first fell, the snow was powdery, but after a few hours in the sun it took on a different character: sticky and malleable. With very low pressure in the tires, the Pugsley was more than up to the task of making tracks over the white expanses.

A post ride dog crash into the cool, cozy snow |
There was a brief second round of snow today that dusted the crusty snow underneath. Rolling over the mixture of new and old snow is as fun as crunching the frozen surface of puddles. The changing consistency of winter surfaces makes for a smorgasbord of new riding experiences.

A King Cage Top Cap Cage Mount. A $5 score from the show. |
Huh, interesting. I was at NAHBS and am in the market for another king cage. Where did you score that?
ReplyDeleteRon of King Cage had a booth on Saturday, with a swarm of people watching him make cages. If it weren't that I was down to my last $5 in cash, I would have walked away with a couple of his cages as well. He's a true artisan and his products are highly worthy.
DeleteAlso, nice blog! Been lurking for a while.
ReplyDeleteThanks, you're welcome back any time. Looks like you have a Dummy, too?
